đ˘ Slow Progress
With a full-time job taking more of my time, I didnât make much progress on the blog. I wrote about my Las Vegas trip and signed up for Bing Webmasters Tool, but the amount of revenue and number of views/followers didnât change much. One thing that I am hopeful about is finally learning which of my post is doing the best in search, so Iâll try to reproduce the success of that post with more niche content going forward.
Since I donât have major travel updates to give this month, I thought Iâd share a few travel news items that could help with your 2026 planning:
đ° Disneyland 70th Anniversary Discounts
Itâs the 70th anniversary of Disneyland this year, and theyâre offering special discounts! Disneyland is my favorite thing to do when visiting LA, and itâs always fun no matter how many times Iâve been!
đˇď¸ Points & Miles Deals This Month
If youâre looking for more travel deals, The Points Guy has put together a comprehensive post summarizing the points and miles travel deals this month.
â ď¸ UK Entry Requirement Update
Starting February 25, 2026, visitors from 85 countries (including the U.S. and Canada) will officially need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the United Kingdom. Make sure to apply online if you have a UK trip planned this year!
âď¸ Winter Storm Disruptions
A major winter storm is expected to impact the U.S. Northeast this week. If youâre flying through hubs like JFK, Boston, or Philadelphia, keep an eye on potential delays and cancellations.
đ¸ Japan Cherry Blossom Forecast
Japanâs official cherry blossom forecast is out, and peak season dates are filling up fast in places like Tokyo and Kyoto. If sakura is on your bucket list, book ASAP!
I hope this news-based edition of my newsletter has been helpful to you! If thereâs anything else that would be useful to share, please let me know!
